A budget TV with a premium HDR badge collection. The picture is fine, but the price is right if you find it on sale.

The Hisense 50" E6 is a weird TV. It's got some genuinely impressive high-end features wrapped in a decidedly mid-tier package. The one thing you need to know? It's a budget set that punches way above its weight in HDR support, but don't expect flagship picture quality to match. For the price, the Dolby Vision and Atmos combo is a steal, but you're making clear compromises elsewhere.

The HDR performance is the real surprise here, landing in the 95th percentile. That means it supports all the major formats, which is rare at this price. The actual picture quality, however, is just average.
