El LG UltraGear 27G640A-B es uno de esos monitores que en el papel suena a sueño competitivo: 27 pulgadas QHD, 300Hz y 1ms de respuesta. Pero la realidad es más matizada. Lo que de verdad sorprende no es la frecuencia (que está muy bien), sino la conectividad: USB-C con hub, tres puertos USB-C y hasta altavoces integrados, una rareza en monitores gaming puros. Eso sí, el brillo se queda en 300 nits y el HDR es puro marketing, así que no esperes imágenes deslumbrantes.
Rendimiento
Lo que nos dejó con la boca abierta fue el despliegue de puertos. Está en el percentil 98 de conectividad en nuestra base de datos, es decir, de lo mejor que hemos visto para un monitor de este tipo. Los 300Hz con FreeSync Premium y compatibilidad G-Sync se sienten como mantequilla en shooters, y la resolución QHD en 27 pulgadas es el punto dulce. Pero el panel IPS, aunque rápido, tiene un contraste estático de 1300:1 que en negros se nota grisáceo, y el HDR10 con solo 300 nits de brillo es un quiero y no puedo.
