La SKYEGG K15 es una de esas tabletas que te hacen rascar la cabeza con sus especificaciones: 24GB de RAM y 256GB de almacenamiento por un precio que ronda los 90 dólares en Amazon. Suena demasiado bien para ser verdad, ¿no? Pues en parte lo es. Esa cifra de RAM incluye memoria virtual, así que no esperes el rendimiento de un portátil de verdad, pero para leer, ver series en streaming y usar apps ligeras, vuela. Lo que sí es una grata sorpresa es que viene con Android 14 limpio y certificación Widevine L1, así que Netflix y Prime Video se ven en HD sin problemas.
Rendimiento
Lo que más nos sorprendió fue la fluidez con la que mueve las aplicaciones cotidianas. Con su Unisoc de 8 núcleos y esos 24GB de RAM (sí, son reales en papel), abrir Chrome, YouTube y un par de redes sociales al mismo tiempo no le hace sudar. Sin embargo, en juegos 3D o edición de fotos rápida se nota que el procesador está en un 83 percentil: suficiente para el día a día, pero no para multitarea pesada. La pantalla es correcta, con sus 1280x800 píxeles se ve nítida para vídeos, aunque no es tan vibrante como un panel Full HD. Ah, y la batería de 8000mAh te da un día entero de uso mixto, aunque los usuarios se quejan de que no llega a las 12 horas que promete la caja.

Por menos de 100 pavos, la relación calidad-precio es difícil de batir, pero ojo con los precios inflados que ves por ahí. Hay vendedores que la ponen a más de 24.000 dólares (alguien se fumó algo). El mejor precio está en Amazon, rondando los 90$. Si la compras por su capacidad de streaming y lectura, es un chollo. Frente a la competencia
Frente a la iPad de 10ª generación o la Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, la SKYEGG pierde en brillo de pantalla y ecosistema de aplicaciones productivas. Pero cuesta una fracción. La iPad es mucho más pulida y tiene soporte para lápiz, pero si solo quieres ver YouTube y leer cómics, esta te ahorra 200-300 euros. La Lenovo Idea Tab Pro es un rival directo en precio, pero su pantalla es mejor y el procesador también. Aun así, SKYEGG le gana en RAM y almacenamiento base.
