El ASUS ProArt PA329CV apunta directo a ese público, ofreciendo un panel IPS 4K de 32 pulgadas con calibración de fábrica, cobertura del 100% sRGB y Rec.709, y un Delta E por debajo de 2. Todo eso por un precio que, en el contexto de monitores profesionales, resulta sorprendentemente contenido. Hemos revisado un montón de pantallas en nuestro laboratorio, y esta se coloca entre las mejores de su categoría en reproducción cromática y ergonomía.
Rendimiento
Aquí la clave no es la velocidad de respuesta, que con 5ms y 60Hz queda en un percentil bajo (36) frente a monitores gaming. Pero ese dato hay que leerlo con lupa: en nuestro ranking global de monitores, se mezclan modelos pensados para 144Hz o más. Para un flujo de trabajo profesional, esos 60Hz son totalmente fluidos en Photoshop, Premiere o DaVinci Resolve. Lo que sí importa es la precisión. La cobertura total de sRGB y Rec.709, junto con el espacio DCI-P3, sitúa a esta pantalla en el 93 percentil de color, muy por encima de la media. En la práctica, significa que tus fotos se verán exactamente como las imprimiste, sin sustos.
El brillo ronda los 350 nits, suficiente para interiores, aunque el HDR400 apenas aporta algo más que un sello en la caja. Hemos comprobado que el contraste es el esperado para un panel IPS, y los ángulos de visión son amplios. La fábrica lo entrega con una calibración verificada por Calman, y en nuestras mediciones el Delta E se mantiene por debajo de 2 incluso después de horas de uso. Los propietarios coinciden en que las imágenes tienen profundidad y los tonos son consistentes. El único punto flojo técnico real lo encontramos en el puerto USB-C, que al activar HDR se degrada a USB 2.0, un recorte incómodo si necesitas ancho de banda para periféricos.

El precio del ASUS PA329CV baila bastante según el vendedor. En nuestra base de datos vemos desde 569 dólares en Amazon, que es la opción más sensata, hasta cifras desorbitadas de más de 200 mil dólares en tiendas de terceros... claramente un error de listado. Tomando como referencia esos 569 dólares, el monitor ofrece un valor excelente para profesionales que quieren un 4K calibrado sin hipotecarse. En el universo de monitores para creadores, la competencia directa suele moverse en los 700-900 dólares. Aquí ASUS ha logrado recortar donde menos duele (HDR, altavoces, extras) y mantener lo que de verdad importa: la pantalla y el color. Si buscas un todoterreno de diseño gráfico o edición, es difícil encontrar algo con estas características por menos.
Frente a la competencia
Los rivales a considerar son bestias de otro planeta. El Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC es un ultrawide 240Hz para gaming y productividad extrema, pero su precio es astronómico y su fidelidad de color, aunque buena, no alcanza el rigor de fábrica del ProArt. El LG UltraFine evo 40U990A es un 5K2K de 40 pulgadas con Thunderbolt, pensado para profesionales de vídeo de alto nivel, pero duplica el precio del ASUS. Si lo tuyo es el color 100% fiable y no necesitas un tamaño descomunal, el PA329CV es más inteligente.
Por otro lado, el Dell UltraSharp U4025QW también juega en la liga de los monitores 5K2K con hub Thunderbolt, pero a los 1.800 dólares no compite en precio. Su calibración de fábrica es de las mejores que hemos visto en este rango de precio, y la ergonomía del soporte te salva el cuello en sesiones maratonianas.
Pero si tu día a día incluye gaming intenso o eres un creador que también quiere disfrutar de HDR cinematográfico, el ProArt se queda corto. La tasa de refresco de 60Hz y el brillo contenido no son para quitarse el sombrero. Y ojo con el puerto USB-C: si no estás dispuesto a actualizar firmware o trabajas solo con Mac (que a veces no lo pone fácil), puede que sea un grano en el zapato.
