The HP Omen 16L is a solid, no-nonsense gaming desktop that's secretly a fantastic office workhorse. The one thing you need to know? It's wildly over-specced on RAM and storage for the price, making it a weirdly good deal for power users who aren't chasing the absolute highest frame rates. It's not the flashiest tower on the block, but it gets the job done with a surprising amount of included gear.

Here's what surprised us: that 64GB of DDR5 RAM lands in the 96th percentile. That's an absurd amount of memory for a machine in this price bracket, and it makes this thing an absolute monster for multitasking, virtual machines, or heavy creative work. The RTX 5060 is fine for 1080p and 1440p gaming, sitting in a respectable 67th percentile, but it's the sheer multitasking headroom from the RAM that steals the show.
