Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 16.0" Review
The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 won't excite you, but it might be the reliable, port-filled workhorse your business needs. Just don't expect good battery life.
Overview
The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 is a solid, no-nonsense workhorse for the office. It's not going to wow you, but it gets the job done with decent reliability and a full set of ports. The one thing you need to know? This is a pure business machine. It's built for spreadsheets and video calls, not for fun.
Performance
The AMD 7535HS CPU is fine for daily tasks, landing in the 46th percentile. It won't choke on a dozen Chrome tabs or a big Excel file. But the integrated graphics are exactly what you'd expect, sitting in the bottom 18th percentile. Don't even think about gaming. The 45Wh battery is also a bit of a letdown for a 16-inch laptop; you'll be hunting for an outlet by mid-afternoon.

Value & Pricing
At around a grand, it's a fair price for what you get. You're paying for business-grade durability and connectivity, not for cutting-edge performance or a beautiful screen. If those are your priorities, it's worth it. If you want something more exciting, look elsewhere.
vs Competition
The most relevant competitor is the ASUS Zenbook Duo. For similar money, you get a far more innovative dual-screen design that's better for multitasking, though its build might not feel as tank-like as the ThinkBook's. The Apple MacBook Pro is in a completely different league on performance and battery life, but it costs three times as much. The gaming laptops on the list, like the Legion Pro 7i, are irrelevant here unless your 'business' is playing Cyberpunk.

Verdict
This is a clear, simple recommendation. Buy the ThinkBook 16 G7 if you need a dependable, connect-everything laptop for generic office work and your company is footing the bill. For anyone else, especially students or hybrid workers who value battery life or a better screen, the ASUS Zenbook Duo is a more interesting and versatile choice at this price point.
