Simera 21mm f/1.4 brings the wide-angle perspective into the Simera series, combining an expansive field of view with careful optical refinement. Its optical formula includes 2 aspherical, 3 high-refractive index, and 3 extra-low dispersion elements that work together to suppress chromatic aberration and distortion across the frame, ensuring sharp, true-to-life rendering from edge to edge.
With an ultra-short minimum focusing distance of 0.23m, photographers can approach subjects closely while preserving a strong sense of environment, ideal for storytelling and dynamic composition. The fast f/1.4 aperture ensures excellent low-light performance and smooth tonal transitions, while the 14-blade iris produces soft, rounded bokeh with minimal onion ring artifacts.
True to the Simera series, this lens features the subtle tactile resistance at 0.7m that marks the effective rangefinder coupling limit, supporting intuitive focus confirmation in dynamic scenes. The Clicked and de-clicked aperture ring accommodates smooth transitions between stills and video, while the classic automatic depth-of-field indicator aids quick visualization of focus zones.
