AOCWEI 2025 Tablet, 10 Inch Android Tablet 20GB RAM+128GB Review

This $80 tablet boasts 20GB of RAM, but a terrible screen and a painfully slow CPU make it impossible to recommend for anything beyond the most basic tasks.

Overview

This tablet is a classic case of specs on paper not telling the whole story. The one thing you need to know is that its headline-grabbing 20GB of RAM is mostly virtual, and it's paired with a painfully slow processor and a low-resolution screen. It's built for a budget, and it shows in all the wrong places.

Performance

The performance is exactly what you'd expect from a CPU in the 10th percentile. It's slow. Apps stutter, web browsing feels sluggish, and any game more demanding than a simple puzzle title will struggle. That 20GB of RAM is a clever marketing trick, but it can't make up for a weak chip. The Wi-Fi 6 is a nice touch, but it's like having a fast highway leading to a town with dirt roads.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Wi-Fi 6 support is a legit surprise at this price. 96th
  • The 6000mAh battery should last a decent while for basic tasks. 80th

  • At $80, it's undeniably cheap.

Cons

  • The screen is a blurry 1280x800 mess. It's bad for reading and media. 9th
  • The CPU is painfully slow. This thing chugs. 13th
  • The 20GB RAM is mostly virtual memory, not the real deal. 16th
  • The 5MP camera is basically useless for anything but video calls. 26th

Value & Pricing

At $80, it's cheap, but it's not a good value. You're paying for a list of features that don't work well together. It feels like a device built to hit a price point first, with the user experience as an afterthought.

vs Competition

Don't compare this to an iPad Pro or a Surface Pro. That's like comparing a scooter to a sports car. The real competition is other budget Android tablets. Compared to something like a Lenovo Idea Tab, you're trading a slightly bigger screen and Wi-Fi 6 for much worse performance and a terrible display. Even against other no-name 'N-one' tablets, this one's weak CPU and screen are major red flags. If you can spend even $50 more, you'll find much better options.

Verdict

I can't recommend it. The terrible screen and sluggish performance ruin the experience. It might be okay as a disposable kids' tablet for very basic games, but for any real student work, reading, or media consumption, it's a frustrating device. Save up a little more and buy something else.
