La nueva Microsoft Surface Laptop de 7ª edición apuesta fuerte por la IA con los procesadores Intel Core Ultra Series 2, y este modelo en concreto viene bien cargado: 32 GB de RAM LPDDR5X, 1 TB de SSD y una pantalla PixelSense Flow de 13.8 pulgadas con 120 Hz y 600 nits de brillo. Pesa solo 1.35 kg y mide menos de 0.7 pulgadas de grosor, así que entra sin problemas en cualquier mochila. Está claro que Microsoft quiere conquistar al profesional que necesita un equipo Windows 11 Pro ultraligero, con batería para todo el día y capacidades de IA locales gracias a la NPU de hasta 48 TOPS. La hemos probado a fondo y aquí te contamos qué tal se comporta en el día a día y cómo se compara con sus rivales más directos.
Hablamos de un portátil que en nuestra base de datos destaca en apartados clave: la memoria RAM está en el top 3 de su categoría (percentil 93), la pantalla y la compacidad también son de las mejores que hemos visto, mientras que la CPU se queda en un sólido percentil 65. No es un monstruo de la edición de vídeo ni sirve para jugar (gaming apenas llega a 10.8/100 en nuestro ranking), pero para multitarea ofimática, videollamadas con efectos de Windows Studio y mover varias aplicaciones a la vez va sobrado. Y ojo, que la conectividad incluye Wi-Fi 7 y dos puertos USB-C con Thunderbolt, aunque se olvida del USB-A y el lector de tarjetas.
El punto más curioso es el rango de precios que encontramos: desde $1,800 en Newegg, con envío rápido y buen servicio, hasta cifras astronómicas de más de $710,000 que claramente son un error de algún vendedor. Para lo que ofrece (32 GB, 1 TB, pantalla táctil de alta resolución y diseño premium), esos $1,800 lo convierten en una opción muy interesante si priorizas movilidad y autonomía. Si consigues la configuración de 32 GB y 1 TB por los $1,800 que aparecen en Newegg, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena para un ultrabook empresarial con pantalla de 120 Hz, peso pluma y Wi-Fi 7. Ojo, porque el rango de precios que vemos en otros vendedores va desde esos $1,800 hasta más de $710,330 (un claro error de listado que ignoramos). Dado que la RAM está en el percentil 93 y la pantalla en el 85, obtienes componentes de gama alta en un chasis compacto que la competencia iguala solo subiendo bastante el presupuesto.
