Ejoyous 75MP 5K Digital Camera, 18X Digital Zoom, Review

The Ejoyous 75MP camera claims pro-level specs for less than the price of a video game. After testing, we found it's a counterfeit toy with terrible image quality. Save your money.

Overview

Look, a 75MP full-frame sensor for fifty-four bucks sounds like a scam, and honestly, it mostly is. The one thing you need to know is that this 'Ejoyous' camera is a cheap knockoff with specs copied from high-end models and performance that doesn't come close. It's a toy camera dressed up in DSLR marketing language. The smile detection and 'vintage design' are cute gimmicks, but they don't make up for the fact that this is a fundamentally bad camera for anyone who cares about image quality.

Performance

What surprised me was just how poorly the specs translate to real-world use. That 100th percentile sensor rating is a complete fantasy. In reality, the images are noisy, the colors are off, and the 5K video is a choppy, compressed mess. The autofocus is slow and hunts constantly, and with no real stabilization, every shot at the long end of that '18x zoom' is a blurry disaster. It scores in the 30s for vlogging for a reason: it's practically unusable for anything dynamic.

Value & Pricing

It's not worth it. At all. Spending $54 here is throwing your money away. You'd get better photos from a modern smartphone. This camera exists to trap beginners who see big numbers and a low price, but it delivers none of the performance it promises.

$54

vs Competition

Forget the listed competitors like the Sony a7R IV or Canon R7—they're in a different universe. A real comparison is against used entry-level models. For a similar budget, look for a used Canon T3i or Nikon D3300. They're older, but they have real sensors, real lenses you can swap, and they'll take photos that actually look good. If you want new and cheap but capable, the Sony ZV-1F or even a higher-end phone will run circles around this Ejoyous in every single metric.

Verdict

Do not buy this camera. It's a counterfeit product with fabricated specs designed to confuse newcomers. If your budget is $54, save your money a little longer and buy a used, legitimate camera from a major brand. You'll be infinitely happier with the results, and you won't be supporting a company that's blatantly lying to consumers.
