The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is a super light, 2-pound laptop built for people who move. It's got a sharp OLED screen and a new Intel chip that promises good battery life and AI smarts. This isn't a gaming rig or a video editing powerhouse, but for daily office work and travel, it looks slick on paper.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H is a solid mid-range CPU. It lands in the 70th percentile, so it'll handle your spreadsheets, dozens of browser tabs, and video calls without breaking a sweat. The integrated graphics, however, are its weak spot, sitting way down in the 18th percentile. Don't expect to game on this thing. The 1TB SSD is fast and spacious, and 16GB of RAM is the bare minimum these days, but it's enough for the target audience.

At $1299, this is a tough sell. You're paying a premium for the ultra-light form factor and that beautiful OLED screen. The performance is good but not class-leading, and the RAM is locked at 16GB. Stack it up against the competition and the trade-offs are clear. The Apple MacBook Air M3 destroys it in battery life and CPU performance, and it's often cheaper, but you lose the touchscreen and Windows. The ASUS Zenbook Duo offers wild dual-screen productivity in a similar weight class. And if you need any graphics power at all, even a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 will run circles around the Prestige's integrated graphics for similar money. This MSI carves out a niche for Windows users who want the lightest possible laptop with a top-tier screen.

Buy this if you're a mobile professional who values a stunning screen and featherweight design above all else, and you never, ever plan to game or do GPU-heavy work. If you need better battery life, more power, or any graphics capability, look at the MacBook Air, a Zenbook, or a thin gaming laptop instead.
