GXMO Laptop 15.6" IPS 1080P Notebook PC,16GB DDR4 512GB Review
The GXMO Laptop pairs a brilliant display with a crippling 1GB of RAM. It's a fundamentally broken product that you should avoid at any price.
Overview
The GXMO Laptop is a weird one. It's got a solid AMD 4800H 8-core CPU and a fantastic 1080p IPS screen, but then the specs fall off a cliff. You get 16GB of RAM, but only 1GB of it is DDR4? And the storage is a confusing 16GB. This feels like a spec sheet that got scrambled.
Performance
The AMD 4800H CPU is decent for basic tasks, landing in the 47th percentile. But that's where the good news ends. The integrated Intel UHD graphics are weak, and the 1GB of RAM is a massive, crippling bottleneck. It scored an 11.4/100 for gaming, which is basically 'don't even try.' The screen is its only standout, hitting the 100th percentile for quality.

Value & Pricing
At $270, it's cheap. But this isn't a value buy, it's a trap. You cannot run a modern operating system with 1GB of RAM. The storage is also useless. You'd be paying for a great screen attached to a paperweight.
vs Competition
Don't compare this to a MacBook Pro or a gaming laptop. Compare it to a used business laptop from a few years ago. For the same $270, you could find a used Lenovo ThinkPad with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD that will actually function. Even a basic Chromebook would be a more reliable choice than this. It's completely outclassed by everything on the competitor list.

Verdict
Do not buy this laptop. The RAM and storage specs are so catastrophically bad that the product is fundamentally broken for its intended use. Only consider it if you need a spare monitor and don't mind the laptop attached to it being useless.
