The 7Artisans 10mm F2.8 is a super-wide prime lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras. It gives you a massive 15mm full-frame equivalent field of view, which is perfect for cramming in big landscapes or tight interior shots.

It's an autofocus lens with built-in stabilization, which is a nice combo for a third-party ultra-wide. At 549 grams, it's not exactly featherweight, but it's manageable for a lens this wide.

This lens has a real split personality. Its macro performance is shockingly good, landing in the 99th percentile. That's wild for an ultra-wide. The image stabilization is also solid at the 89th percentile. But the optical quality and autofocus are just average, sitting in the 30s and 40s for percentile rankings. So you get a huge, stabilized view, but don't expect tack-sharp corner-to-corner detail.

At around $199, this lens is a bit of a mixed bag. You're getting a stabilized, autofocus ultra-wide, which is a rare find at this price. But you're also getting average optics and a plasticky build. If you absolutely need that wide view and stabilization on a budget, it's a contender. Otherwise, you might want to save up for something sharper.

This lens is in a weird spot. It's not competing directly with the Viltrox 35mm f1.7 or Meike 55mm f1.8, which are standard primes for portraits. Compared to those, the 7Artisans is all about width, not speed or bokeh. For a true wide-angle alternative, you'd look at something like the Fujifilm 14mm f2.8, but that's way more expensive and lacks stabilization. The main trade-off here is getting stabilization and autofocus at the cost of ultimate optical quality.

Buy this if you're a Fujifilm shooter on a tight budget who needs a super-wide, stabilized lens for landscapes or interiors and you don't mind some optical compromises. Skip it if you prioritize razor-sharp image quality or need a lens for general, versatile travel use.
