HP OmniBook 3 OmniBook 3 15.6" Full HD Touch-Screen Glacier Silver 2025 Review
The HP OmniBook 3 Copilot+ PC promises AI smarts but delivers outdated performance. Its weak CPU and dim screen make it a tough sell, even at a budget price.
Overview
The HP OmniBook 3 Copilot+ PC is a confusing laptop that doesn't know what it wants to be. It's got the fancy AI branding and a touchscreen, but the core specs are straight out of 2021. The one thing you need to know is this: it's a budget laptop with a premium price tag, and that's a tough sell.
Performance
The performance is exactly what the specs suggest: underwhelming. That AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series CPU lands in the 23rd percentile, which is frankly bad for a new machine. The discrete Radeon 820 GPU isn't much better at the 47th percentile, so don't expect to game on this thing. The only real surprise is the port selection, which is fantastic and hits the 98th percentile. It's got Thunderbolt, three USB-A ports, and HDMI, so you won't need a dongle.

Value & Pricing
At $450, it's a hard no. You're paying for the 'Copilot+' AI branding and a touchscreen, but the actual computer inside is slow. You can find much better performance from a used or refurbished laptop for the same money.
Price History
vs Competition
Forget the high-end competitors like the MacBook Pro. The real question is why you'd pick this over a Lenovo ThinkPad P14s or an ASUS Zenbook. Both of those will likely offer better build quality, screens, and performance for a similar price. Even the gaming laptops on the list, like the MSI Vector, are in a completely different league for power, though they're much heavier. This OmniBook is stuck in no-man's land.

Verdict
I can't recommend the HP OmniBook 3 Copilot+ PC. It feels like HP took an old chassis, threw in some mediocre parts, and slapped a trendy AI label on it. The port selection is its only standout feature. For $450, you should expect a competent modern laptop, and this isn't it. Look for a used business laptop or a different brand's sale model instead.
