The Surface Laptop 7 15" is a solid, reliable work machine. It's built for the daily grind, not for breaking records. You get a 120Hz touchscreen, Windows 11 Pro, and a decent 8-core Intel chip. It's a familiar, polished package from Microsoft that gets the basics right.

The Intel 266V CPU lands in the 56th percentile, so it's perfectly fine for office apps, web browsing, and video calls. The 120Hz screen is smooth, but its overall quality score is only in the 25th percentile. Don't expect to game on this thing, the integrated graphics are in the 18th percentile. It's reliable, ranking in the 75th percentile there, but the 256GB SSD and limited port selection are clear weak spots.

At $1900, it's a tough sell. You're paying a premium for the Surface design and brand, but the specs don't match the price. That 256GB storage and integrated graphics feel out of place in this price bracket. You can find more powerful or better-equipped laptops for the same money.

Buy this if you're a business user or student who values the Surface aesthetic, touch input, and reliable Windows experience above raw specs. But if you need performance, storage, or value for money, look at the MacBook Pro, a high-end Zenbook, or even a business-focused gaming laptop instead.
