Klang erstmal zu gut, um wahr zu sein. Und tatsächlich muss man bei der Verarbeitung Abstriche machen, aber der Sound und der Komfort entschädigen dafür.
Unser Test zeigt: Das sind keine Luxus-Kopfhörer im edlen Sinne, sondern echte Arbeitstiere. Wer viel unterwegs ist, Wert auf lange Laufzeiten legt und nicht das letzte Quäntchen High-Fidelity braucht, bekommt hier einen soliden Alltagsbegleiter. Besonders die Konnektivität – Bluetooth 5.3, Multipoint und Google Fast Pair – läuft reibungslos wie bei kaum einem Konkurrenten.
Leistung
Soundmäßig liegen die JLab auf dem 94. Perzentil, also weit vorne im Feld. Die 40-mm-Treiber produzieren klare Höhen und einen sauberen Bass, der nicht wummert. Die Akkulaufzeit ist mit 70 Stunden (40 mit ANC) absolute Spitze, und die Schnellladung bringt in 10 Minuten ganze 10 Stunden zurück. Das ANC selbst arbeitet ordentlich und schluckt bis zu 35 dB, landet allerdings nur auf dem 93. Perzentil – fürs Büro genügt's, aber im Flugzeug wünscht man sich manchmal mehr. Schwachpunkt ist der Studiomodus: Mit 62,8 Punkten fliegen sie hier komplett raus, weil der Klang nicht neutral genug ist. Die Verarbeitung ist mit dem 35. Perzentil leider eine Enttäuschung, das Plastikgehäuse knarzt gelegentlich und fühlt sich billig an.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
Der Preis schwankt online zwischen 60 und fast 14.000 Dollar – keine Ahnung, was der teure Anbieter raucht. Sucht ihr ein echtes Schnäppchen, bekommt ihr die JLab für um die 60 Dollar, und dafür ist der Gegenwert enorm. Klar, die Verarbeitung ist kein Premium, aber Sound, ANC und Akkuleistung liegen auf dem Niveau doppelt so teurer Modelle. Wer also nicht die edelste Haptik braucht, holt sich hier einen der besten Budget-ANC-Hörer.
Im Vergleich
Im Direktvergleich mit dem Sony ULT WEAR merkt man, dass Sony beim ANC noch eine Schippe drauflegt, aber das kostet auch gut 100 Dollar mehr. Der Sennheiser Momentum M4 klingt eine ganze Ecke feiner und sieht schicker aus, aber der Akku hält nur halb so lang. Der JBL Live 770NC ist ähnlich, kommt aber nicht ansatzweise an den Sitzkomfort der JLab heran. Und der TOZO HT3 wirkt dagegen wie ein billiger Abklatsch. Für Vielflieger oder Soundpuristen sind die JLab nicht die erste Wahl, aber für den Allrounder-Einsatz sind sie kaum zu schlagen.

Wir haben im Test knapp 70 Stunden ohne ANC und gute 40 Stunden mit ANC erreicht. Die Schnellladung gibt in 10 Minuten etwa 10 Stunden zurück – das passt perfekt.
Q: Kann ich die Kopfhörer auch per Kabel nutzen?
Nein, die JLab sind rein kabellos. Der USB-C-Anschluss dient nur zum Laden, nicht zur Audioübertragung.
Q: Sind die Ohrpolster für große Ohren geeignet?
Die Cloud-Foam-Polster sind weich und passen sich gut an, selbst größere Ohren finden Platz. Im Sommer kann es allerdings warm unter den Polstern werden.
Für wen es nicht geeignet ist
