The MSI Venture 16 AI is a laptop that wants to be good at everything but ends up being just okay at most things. It's got a solid Intel 255H processor and a touchscreen, but that's about where the excitement ends. The one thing you need to know is this: it's a decent general-purpose machine, but don't expect it to excel in any specific area, especially gaming.

The Intel 255H CPU is the star here, landing in the 79th percentile. It's fast enough for daily tasks and even some light development work. But the Intel Arc integrated graphics are a real letdown, sitting at a mediocre 59th percentile. That 16.8/100 gaming score isn't a typo—this thing can't game. If you need a 2-in-1, get the Zenbook Duo. If you need to game, look at the Vector or Legion. The Venture 16 AI is for someone who just wants a big screen and a touch interface.

Only buy the MSI Venture 16 AI if you find it on a deep discount and your needs are incredibly basic: web browsing, office apps, and streaming video. For anyone else, there are better, more focused options at every price point. It's a jack of all trades, master of none, and in 2024, that's just not good enough.
