PRITOM PRITOM 10 inch Kids Tablets Android 13, Tablet Review

The PRITOM tablet is a durable, locked-down toy for young kids, but its sluggish performance makes it hard to recommend over slightly more expensive options.

Overview

Look, this is a cheap kids' tablet, and you get exactly what you pay for. The one thing to know is that it's a locked-down, durable toy for very young kids, not a real tablet. It runs a lightweight version of Android 13 Go, which is good because the actual hardware inside is incredibly slow. The 64GB of RAM sounds impressive on paper, but that's a weird spec that doesn't translate to real performance.

Performance

Honestly, nothing surprised me in a good way. The performance is exactly as bad as the 9th percentile CPU ranking suggests. It's sluggish. Opening apps, switching between the pre-loaded kids' games, even navigating the simple menus feels laggy. That 30% speed increase they mention? It's from a very, very low starting point. This thing is not for anything beyond the most basic tapping and swiping.

Value & Pricing

At around $61, it's hard to complain about the price. But value isn't just about being cheap. You're buying a dedicated, single-purpose device that your kid will outgrow quickly. If you just need a digital pacifier that can survive being thrown, it's worth it. If you want a tablet that can also be useful for light family tasks, it is not.

$61

vs Competition

Compared to the other cheap kids' tablet, the N-one 10.4", they're in the same ballpark. The PRITOM might have slightly better parental software. But if you're even considering an iPad or a Galaxy Tab, stop. Those are real computers. This PRITOM is a toy. The trade-off is simple: spend 5-10x more for a device that grows with your child, or spend $61 on something they'll use for a year before it feels too slow and limited.

Verdict

This is a very specific purchase for a very specific situation. Buy the PRITOM Touch10 only if your top priorities are 1) a super low price, 2) extreme durability, and 3) you want zero chance of your kid accessing the wider internet. For anyone else, even at this price, I'd recommend saving up for a used older-generation iPad or Amazon Fire Kids tablet. They're just better devices.
