ZONKO 2026 Release 11 inch Tablet, Android 15 Tablets Review

A budget Android 15 tablet promises a lot, but the tiny 16GB storage and low-res screen make it hard to recommend for anyone but the most casual user.

Overview

So you're looking at a budget Android tablet, maybe for a kid or as a second screen for the couch. This 2026 release 11-inch tablet runs Android 15 and has a few things going for it, like a big 8000mAh battery and a keyboard connector for basic productivity. But let's be real, the specs tell a different story. The 1280x800 screen resolution is very low for an 11-inch panel, and 16GB of total storage is basically unusable in 2026. It's a classic case of marketing hype meeting budget reality.

Performance

Performance is where the budget nature shines through, and not in a good way. The MediaTek CPU lands in the 36th percentile, which means it's slower than most tablets out there. The GPU is even weaker at the 38th percentile. For basic web browsing and video streaming, it'll probably be okay, but don't expect smooth gaming or snappy app switching. The '16GB' of RAM is misleading, as it's 8GB of physical RAM plus 8GB of virtual memory, which is much slower. This setup scores in the 27th percentile for RAM performance, so multitasking will be a struggle.

Value & Pricing

At around $130, it's undeniably cheap. But value is about what you get for your money, and here you're making serious compromises. That 16GB storage means you'll have maybe one game and a couple of apps before it's full. For the same price or a tiny bit more, you can find refurbished or older model tablets from brands like Samsung or Lenovo that offer vastly better screens, more storage, and more reliable performance. This tablet's value is only for someone who needs an absolute barebones screen for video and literally nothing else.

vs Competition

Let's name names. The Apple iPad (any recent base model) and Samsung Galaxy Tab A series are in a completely different league, even used. They have better screens, faster chips, and functional storage. Compared to a Lenovo Tab M11, which often goes on sale near this price, this Zonko tablet loses on every spec except maybe battery size. Even the Panasonic Toughbook, while a totally different rugged device, highlights how specialized and weak this tablet's 'business' claims are. If you're considering this for productivity, a used laptop would be a smarter buy.

Verdict

Should you buy this? Almost certainly not. It's built for a very narrow use case: someone who only watches videos on Wi-Fi and never installs apps. The terrible screen and minuscule storage make it a frustrating experience for anything else. If your budget is truly locked at $130, look for a used, name-brand tablet from a couple years ago. You'll get a much better device. This tablet answers the question 'is there a tablet under $150?' with a yes, but then immediately shows you why that's usually a bad idea.
