Performance is a mixed bag, which you'd expect for the price. The Arducam's only real advantage is its microscopic price and size. It's in its own weird, niche category.

Buy this if you're a Raspberry Pi tinkerer, a photography student on a super tight budget who wants to learn manual focus, or someone who needs a tiny, fast lens for adapted macro work on a non-critical project. For everyone else, especially those wanting sharp images or autofocus for their main camera, save up for a Viltrox or used name-brand lens.
